i absolutelty loved it....what i liked was it wasn't a big action type installment...it was layering with the characters...putting the foundations down for the third movie....excellent

I've seen it twice soo far and I LOVE it
It's Awesome! And one of the best 'from book to screen' films I've ever seen. New Moon is my fav book from the series, so I was a bit worried about it being made into a movie, but the way it turned out was a nice and happy surprise ^^
There was a few things, that made me go "ahh, that doesn't happen like that" (mostly some stuff with the motorbikes) but I can understand why they did it that way. And I absolutely loved the way they did Bella's 'blank' months made me tear up and I'm not one who cries easily

because its a story thats why lol
Her parents don't know he's a vampire so why would they stop her seeing him?
Thinking about the age thing, I don't really think your mind changes all that much after you become an adult... I was talking to my dad and he said he feels no different from when he was 18 or whatever, the only think is that he aches more and can't physically do the same stuff as he did when he was young.
So I guess if you are trapped in a young body that never aged and hang around with young people then you're not going to feel much different!
Can't wait to see New Moon, I've read the book and loved it so it will be good to compare them.

Question:
Edward is like over a hundred years old, right? What could he possibly have in common with a 15 year old girl?
In a reality, Edward would rip Bellas head off and drink her blood the first time she makes him sit and watch High School musical or turns on a Jonas Brothers album. Besides, dont her parents care about her at all? Why dont they step in and, i dont know, do some parenting.

OK so as you all know I'm a freak for twilight and on Fiat i went to see new moon well....... I LOVE IT!!!! i totally recommend to watch the movie was was 98% just like the book!!.
if any of you guys have seen it or want to watch it tell me how do you fell about the movie if is the same as the book or out of the book.
To be honest, Im not sure I like it so much. It kinda feels a bit of a sell out of the character. Im sure she would have just shot the guy rather than stripped.
Saying that, I thought the rubix cube was dead hilarious.

Man... if I had the money, I'd pick that up in a heartbeat. I need a good whip for my own Indy costume, and the one I picked up from Disneyland just doesn't cut it for accuracy. Anyone who might be interested, this is a great, great deal.

Alright, so I got this one Counter-Strike: Source pack for Christmas like 4 or 5 years ago. This pack contained Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch. When I first got it, I tried to set it up, but it didn't work, or I didn't know how to set it up (I was like 12 at the time), so I never got to play it. Now I am trying to set it up again, today (Saturday, October 10, 2009 AD, Gregorian calendar). I have all three of the games installed, however, I tried to activate the games with the CD-keys that it gave me (the box has 2 reference cards that say the exact same thing, except for different CD-keys). The first CD-key didn't work, so I tried the second, it also didn't work. My uncle got it for me new, so it's not like he got it used or he played it himself before giving it to me (which would render the CD-keys invalid). I believe this may have been the same problem I experienced a few years ago. Also, the problem isn't my old account, which got deleted, because I never used it and I didn't have any games activated on it. The first time this happened, Steam contacted me and said it was because I installed Steam on my D drive, and that Steam retail games don't work on anything other than C drives, however, this time I installed it on my C drive (so that isn't the problem either). So, why am I experiencing this problem? I highly doubt some guy on the Internet randomly typed in random codes that just so happened to be mine (twice), since the odds of that happening for one CD-key is like 1 in a million, let alone 2 CD-keys, which is like 1 in a billion. I have already sent in a Steam support ticket asking for assistance, in which I including pictures of both CD-key reference cards, as well a picture of all 4 CDs, with the two reference cards, along with the game box. Please help me rectify this most unfortunate problem. Below is a screenshot of the error message (the same error appeared for both CD-keys, so I only took one screenshot):
This area is for news about this site. Hence the whole "Board News" thing. Really, it's common sense.
If it's so common, then why did I do it?
Do you really want me to answer this? Or would you prefer to save what dignity you have, and start posting in the correct forum... as you have been instructed to do on three occasions?
Sie will es und so ist es fein So war es und so wird es immer sein Buachaill on Eirne. The ball is round, the game lasts 90 minutes, everything else is pure theory,
I wasn't sure whether to put it in here or in the video game forum (since this is news, but it is news a bout a game). So I just decided to put it in this one since it comes first.

If it was the first time, I'd be nice. However, this user has been told numerous times about posting things in the correct forum... specifically, the video game forum. It's clear that "nice" doesn't work.

Space Siege « Result #42 on Sept 12, 2009, 8:46pm »
I got Space Siege yesterday (Friday, September 11, 2009) in the mail, because I purchased it new on Amazon. Well, I didn't actually play the game until today (Saturday, September 12, 2009), and it runs fine (other than it being extremely laggy, even on the lowest graphics settings and in the smallest window), except for this one error I just got. I was playing it on single player and was entering the "Medical Lab Delta" (atleast I think thats' right) and it crashed the game. Here is a screenshot of the error:

It’s been 10 years? wow. I still recall reminiscing about seeing a new hope (before it was called that)
When EP1 came out me and about 10 of my friends went to a small theater in Carlsbad, Ca. I remember all the cheers as people where living the big screen star wars experience for the first time. But then all that enthusiasm seemed to dwindle away as the movie went on. After the movie most of my friends felt let down. . Even though I’m not a Jar Jar hater I think episode one was big disappointment for many and most of the blame was placed on that character.
I even think this had an effect on Episode 2 as there was very little fan fare for it. I don’t think I went to see attack of the clones until the second week it was out.

I was in 8th grade when I saw this, and I remember loving the lightsaber duel between Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul. As much as I criticize the prequels, this is the movie that made me want to make fanfilms (which led to costuming).

I remember going to the midnight showing.
I was just sitting there thinking back to the first time I saw A New Hope before it started. Now here I was finally getting to see the whole story start to unfold. Wishing my son had been of age to enjoy this moment with me.
Than it started. Don't know if I just sorta of out grew it, but as soon as JarJar come on. I was not pleased. This was not the Star Wars that I grew-up watching
I'm sure as a child I would of loved the movie alot more, but I'm just glad that with each movie. It got better.
I was a fan from day one. And I am still a fan to this day

Episode I - 10 Years in Retrospect « Result #47 on Sept 10, 2009, 1:38am »
On May 19, 1999 AD, the most anticipated film of all time was released in theaters. This movie was Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, a prequel to the rest of the Star Wars trilogy, The Phantom Menace takes place 37 years prior to the events in A New Hope. Now we celebrate 10 years since the revival of the Star Wars film saga, and 10 years since the release of Episode I. Feel free to share your EP1 stories, thoughts on the movie, the hype, and whether or not you remember the day it came out in theaters or not. I personally do not recall the day that EP1 came out, since I was like 8, but I wish I did. One thing I do remember though is all the merchandise for the film. I kind of got the idea to make this thread because I watched Fanboys yesterday (September 8, 2009 AD). So cheers to 10 years to Episode I, and cheers to you, the fans and readers of my topic. Please, feel free to reply.

Anyone here want to play Descent FreeSpace: The Great War or Descent FreeSpace: The Silent Threat or Descent FreeSpace: Darkness Rising on multiplayer some time? I have all three and have never played any of them online before. I have version 1.06 of Descent FreeSpace: The Great War (English version, United States).
